If you use Uber you’ll know about the star rating. Passengers get to rate the drivers after their ride, drivers get to rate passengers.
Drivers’ ratings are made visible – you can see their
star rating when they pick up your call – but passenger ratings are stored by
Uber (they aren’t a secret – they can be revealed when you contact customer
support). They are used by the drivers to ascertain whether they are about to
pick up a dream ride or a DB.
If you consistently score three or under, drivers might
stop picking you up – and if you score even lower than that, you might get
blocked.
Which would be hell. So how can you make sure you are one
of the Uber high achievers?
One Uber driver has the answer – and in the process, he’s
improving the world one ride at a time.
The unnamed driver has been praised on social media for
his polite notice promising passengers a five-star ride.
