Imo State Police
Command has arrested a three-man gang that gruesomely murdered
24-year-old final year civil engineering student of Federal Polytechnic,
Nekede, Imo State, Innocent Ndukwe.
According to Mr. Lakanu, the late Ndukwe was found in a
pool of his own blood in a toilet in his residence at 18 Enuwa Street, Egbu, in
the Owerri North Local Government Area.
He gave the names of the all-male suspects who later
confessed to the crime as David Kwaguru, 30, from Sirwo in Langtang North Local
Government Area of Plateau State; Friday Ayuba, 28, a native of Keyelda in Jos
North Local Government Area of Plateau State and Francis Amos, 23, a native of
Pingali in Langtang South Local Government Area also in Plateau State.
Lakanu appealed to members of the public to be careful
and circumspect in choosing the people they employed as security guards.
