My Husband Impregnated His ‘Sister’ Three Months After Our Wedding

‘My husband, Ezekiel Obeji, impregnated his `sister’ in our matrimonial home,” a 31-year-old businesswoman, Mrs Francisca Obeji, told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Thursday.

Obeji told the court that her husband of seven years impregnated a woman he introduced to her as his `sister’.

“My husband, who married me as a virgin, stopped making love to me three-months after our wedding.“Four-months into our wedding, he brought a young woman home and introduced her to me as his `sister’.

Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Evacuated After ‘Unattended Bag’ Found

Manchester Airport carried out a part evacuation of Terminal 2 this evening after an ‘unattended bag’ was discovered outside the building.

Passengers on the terminal’s land side were cleared from the building and the area surrounding the bag cordoned off after it was discovered shortly before 7pm.

Police officers and fire fighters were called to the incident but have now been stood down after it was determined the item posed no threat.

One Killed in Pulwama Clashes, Curfew Enters 41st Day in Valley

A lecturer was killed and 18 others were injured in clashes between security forces and protesters who were opposing a search operation in Khrew area of Pulwama district in Kashmir where curfew and restrictions remained in force for the 41st day. 

Shabir Ahmad Monga, a contractual lecturer, died when he and several others were beaten up at Khrew late last night, a police official said. He said 18 other persons, mostly youths, have been admitted to a hospital here.

US Swimmers Were Not Robbed, Says Rio Police Chief

 

Four US Olympic gold medal swimmers who said they had been robbed in Rio de Janeiro were not victims of crime, the head of the city's civil police says.

Fernando Veloso told reporters that one or more of the men had instead vandalised part of a petrol station and then offered to pay for the damage.

The Americans paid and left after armed security guards intervened, he said.

One guard had justifiably drawn his gun after one of the swimmers began behaving erratically, Mr Veloso added.
