Barely few days after the news of the arrest of a trader
after he named his dog ‘Buhari’ broke out and has continued to generate
controversy, a Nigerian woman, Ada
Ogbonna has also revealed her own dog is named after minister of Information,
Lai Mohammed.
Ada said she decided
to name her dog ‘Lai Mohammed’ because she admired the minister.
She wrote on her Facebook page: “I named it after someone I
admired. I wonder why that other man got arrested for naming his dog after a
look alike”
