3 Microfinance Banks To Established In Sokoto

As part of its commitment to stimulate the latent entrepreneurial capacity of the people at the grassroots level.Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has said it will establish three microfinance banks as well as small and medium enterprise development agency,


Speaking when he received members of the Small and Medium Scale Rice Millers Association in Sokoto yesterday, Tambuwal said already, the SOSMEDA bill has been presented to the state House of Assembly for passage into law.

He also gave the names of the three microfinance banks as Giginya, Fodiyo and Gudale.
