Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, wife of the President
has appealed to the Governors of Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States, to act
urgently about the nutritional status of babies and children in Internally
Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in their states.
She made the call following the death of a
malnourished twin babies in Zaria on Friday, a statement from her office said.
"She is grieved as a mother that children could
be going through such appalling conditions in her country," it said.
