Buhari Congratulates PFN President at 70


President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday congratulated the National President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Rev. Felix Omobude.

Omobude who is the General Superintendent, Gospel Light International Ministries, clocks 70 on Monday.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President saluted the clergyman’svision, charisma and strength of character which he said have seen him dutifully fulfill his pastoral calling over the years, largely demonstrated in his love for a united and prosperous Nigeria.


The statement read in part, “The President also commends his invaluable contribution to nation building and development through his teachings and exemplary leadership, which continue to inspire many of his followers and admirers to work hard and improve their communities.

“As family, friends and well-wishers gather to celebrate this important milestone and Dr Omobude’s extraordinary achievements, the President uses this opportunity to remind   religious leaders and all in positions of public trust of our shared responsibility in the fight against corruption and other ills confronting our society.


“The President prays that Omobude will enjoy more years of health and fulfillment in his service to God and humanity.”
