Inspite
of the fame and glamour they have, celebrities have dark moments they rarely
share with others. Recently Ikechukwu and AY took to Instagram to tell the
stories of their dark moments.
Popular comedian, Ayo Makun puts his dark moments this way: “Sometimes I feel naked without my parents being around today. Though we were poor, but there was no giving up in making sure we got a proper training. Our nakedness they covered with character, sense of responsibility, peace and love. I wish they were here to reap the fruit of their labour.”
Rapper, Ikechukwu also has this to say:
“My first real job was at the age of 17. I was working the cash register and
putting orders together at McDonald’s. This wasn’t any ordinary McDonald’s. It
was in Akron Ohio. Specifically, in the student center of my school at the
time. For my first shift, I usually worked from 5.25am to 9am. I go to class
till about 2 pm, come back and work till about 7.30pm. I got sick of smelling
like bigmacs and only eating them to save money. I had to quit and got another
job at ACME centre. I worked in the guns and hunting department. I almost got
killed by a 9-year old with a crossbow loaded and pointed at me. Thank God his
mum saw him in time. He screamed: “I just want to kill the nigger maaaa” as she
quickly dragged him out of the store. I thank God for life every morning
because that’s one of my softest real life stories. It’s okay to be real and
frank.”
