Six persons have been killed in today’s early
morning attack in Maiduguri, northeast Nigeria
early hours of today the country’s National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)
said.
The agency said at least 17 other people were
injured and taken to hospital after the blast at a mosque during early morning
prayers.
The attack is the sixth of its kind this month.
Maiduguri has been hit by suicide bombers, underscoring concerns about the
safety of civilians from Boko Haram Islamists.
