Reinaldo Cardoso Rivera from Houston, Texas, has been
charged with the murder of Perez Gonzalez, 34, also from Houston.
Five friends were having dinner in an apartment in the
western area of the city when Gonzalez took the last piece of chicken which
resulted in a row that lead to his death.
The row escalated into a fist fight which ended up
spilling out into the parking lot of the apartment complex, according to
police. Rivera then allegedly stabbed Gonzalez before running away from the
scene with a knife. Gonzalez died at the scene.
When he returned to the scene of the crime, police say he
then admitted to them that he had stabbed Gonzalez.
Rivera was arrested and charged with murder. He is being
held in Harris County jail on $200,000 bond, according to online jail records.
An attorney is not listed.
