A man from Sterling has been indicted on criminal charges
for allegedly supplying heroin to a woman who died from a drug overdose just a
few short hours after having a baby.
52-year old Larry
Davenport is charged with felony counts of involuntary manslaughter and
corrupting another with drugs. The charges stem from the death of 23-year old
Kimberly Karosy last August. Karosy gave birth at Davenport’s home, but the
child did not survive.
Medical officials have been unable to determine whether
or not the child was stillborn.
