Homeless Man Stabbed in Vic During Robbery

A homeless man has been stabbed in the neck and ear after refusing to give up his mobile phone.

The victim, a 25-year-old NSW man, was sitting on a bench outside the state library in the CBD on Saturday morning, when a man approached him and demanded his phone, police say.

After the victim refused, he was assaulted and stabbed by the man, who fled down Swanston Street with the victim chasing him.
