Two western Sydney stabbings have left a man dead
and numerous others injured.
A man in his 20s suffered fatal stab wounds and four
others were injured during a brawl in Bonnyrigg about 11pm on Friday.
Police say the man was taken to Liverpool Hospital
where he died early on Saturday morning.
That incident follows another stabbing at Greenfield
Park about 7pm, leaving a 21-year-old man injured and a teenager charged with
his assault.
Police say the 21-year-old stopped at red lights on
Mimosa Road when a green sedan pulled up beside him and the drivers spoke to
each other.
Both drivers, and the passengers of the green sedan,
got out of their cars and began fighting.
The 21-year-old was allegedly stabbed and taken to
Liverpool Hospital where he is in a stable condition following surgery.
Police later charged a 17-year-old man with reckless
wounding and affray.
He was to face a Children's Bail Court on Saturday.
