Man Sues British Airways After Being Hit on The Head With Rucksack During Take Off

A man is suing British Airways after a bag fell from an overhead locker, hitting him on the head.Wayne Herbert is taking legal action against the plane company after the accident he claims left him suffering from whiplash.

He alleges that the incident, on October 28, left him "seeing stars".

Wayne, from north London, blasted BA for what he described as their "awful" practice after he was seen by a paramedic but wasn't taken to hospital.

He said: “Passengers sitting in the row behind were trying to load too much luggage into the overhead and dropped a bag on my head.

"It bashed me on the top of my head, and has given me a whiplash injury.

“I was offloaded, based on BA’s telephone medical advice, and flew the following day.
