Three bodies have been found in the search for missing
former EastEnders actress Sian Blake and her children, police have said.
Ms Blake, who played Frankie Pierre in the soap, went
missing from east London with sons Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, on 13
December.
Three days later the children’s father Arthur
Simpson-Kent, 48, disappeared following a police interview.
Scotland Yard’s Homicide and Major Crime Command took
over the investigation into the family’s disappearance and officers were
searching Ms Blake’s home and garden.Police said that three bodies have now been found and the
search is now being treated as a murder investigation.
‘Sadly, as part of a thorough forensic search we are
carrying out at the family’s home in Erith, we recovered three bodies from the
garden of the property,’ Detective Superintendent Paul Monk, from the Homicide
and Major Crime Command, said.
‘As yet, we have not formally identified the bodies but
this is of course a significant development and Sian’s family have been
informed.’
