Vanessa Hudgens needs all of our help. The soon to be
‘Grease: Live’ star took to Twitter on Jan. 24 to beg fans for their prayers
for her father, who is currently battling stage four cancer.
Five months ago, Vanessa Hudgens revealed that her
father, former firefighter, Greg Hudgens, was suffering from stage four cancer.
Now, she’s hoping that the dedicated fans can help.
“Hey guys. My dad isn’t doing too well. Please say a
prayer for him! It would mean a lot to me,” Vanessa tweeted on Jan. 24.
In July, Vanessa posted the above photo with her dad,
writing, “My daddy and I ❤️❤️❤️
Please pray for his healing!!! The more prayers the better. 🙏🙏🙏🙏.”
Then at the 2015 Industry Dance Awards stage on Aug. 19, while accepting the award
for Breakthrough Performance award, she revealed her father’s illness.
“Last year, my boyfriend, Austin, lost his mom, Lori, to
cancer, and my dad has just been recently diagnosed with stage four cancer,”
Vanessa said. “Let me tell you, I hate cancer. I hate cancer with every cell of
my being. This award, it means a lot to me but I dedicate it to my boyfriend’s
mom, Lori, my dad, and to all the families out there who are struggling with
this, because it really takes a strong person and a strong family to be able to
help those out who are going through this.”
Vanessa’s boyfriend, Austin Butler, posted on Instagram
just one day before her tweet a very sweet message. “‘When everything seems to
be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind,
not with it.’ – Henry Ford,” he captioned a photo of the sky.
