British Man Dead After Thailand Balcony Plunge

Four Thai ladyboys have been arrested after a British man plunged to his death from a balcony last night.

The body of the man, believed to be aged 28 and from Leeds, was found in an alleyway near an apartment block in the coastal resort Pattaya at around 7.30pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.

He fell from the fourth floor at Dolphin House apartments, according to reports.

Police arrested four transgender women at the scene in connection with the Brit's death.

All failed drugs tests, according to local media.

Col. Anukul Preedayuth of the Pattaya City Police Station is quoted as saying: "There are witnesses who said he fell down on his own, but we are not convinced.

"We are looking for more witnesses and evidence. The matter is under investigation."

The British Embassy has been informed and investigations are ongoing.
