A guest at a wedding in Iraq died after a man standing
behind him fired his automatic rifle in the air in celebration.In a video posted to LiveLeak, guests cheer and clap the
newly-married couple, and one enthusiastic guest fires his gun into the air.
The cheers quickly turn to screams when the guest loses
control of his rifle and accidentally shoots the man in front, who drops to the
floor.
Deaths in similar circumstances are not uncommon.In June, a woman died during a wedding party in northern
France when a man holding a hunting rifle attempted to ‘add to the atmosphere’.
