Cyclist ‘Threw Woman Down Stairs’ For Walking Dog Without a Lead

A dog walker was attacked and thrown down a flight of steps after being challenged about her dog being off its lead, police have said.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the 35-year-old woman was walking her dog off its lead on Jackson’s Bridge, Chorlton, Manchester, when a man rode past on his bike.

The cyclist challenged her about the animal before allegedly grabbing the victim’s head and forcing it against the metal railings and then throwing her down the concrete steps.

GMP have released a picture of a man they wish to speak to.
