A man has been hit by a Tube train after allegedly being
pushed from the platform.
The unidentified man suffered severe injuries after the
Tube went over at him at 11.45am at Kentish Town station, British Transport
Police said.
BTP added that the man ‘may have been pushed’ and said
they are treating the incident as ‘suspicious’.‘I feel physically sick,’ witness Verity Slattery told
the BBC.
‘In utter shock and disbelief. I just hope the guy will be OK.
‘I arrived just after it
happened so I was comforting the distraught passengers.’
Jane Bowyer, who was on
the train that hit the man, said the driver ‘sounded very panicked’ on the
tannoy system.
‘We treated a man at the
scene and took him as a priority to a hospital in Central London with a doctor
from the air ambulance on board,’ said London Ambulance Service
