A passenger jet was today forced to make an emergency
landing after a bomb threat.
The plane operated by Condor airlines from Berlin to
Hurghada, Egypt, landed at Budapest this afternoon, police said.
Police spokeswoman Viktoria Csiszer-Kovacs said: ‘Police
have finished the search and have not found any explosives or explosive
devices.’
German airline Condor said it had received an
‘unspecified threat’ made via telephone.
Passengers and luggage on the jet were searched, but it
later turned out to be a false alarm.
